Actually, Fastag is an electronically readable tag on vehicles. After this, when the vehicle leaves from a toll plaza, the machine installed their charges electronically through that tag. Due to this, vehicles do not have to stop at the toll gate and pay cash. Gadkari said that the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is distributing it free of cost till December 1 to popularize the fastag.
