Patna: A sad news is coming in the midst of the stirring of the Vidhan Sabha elections in Bihar. Actually the former CM of the state Satish Kumar Singh has died. He was 89 years old and was suffering from Coronavirus infection for the last few days. He was undergoing treatment in Delhi, where he breathed his last today. 

On the death of former Bihar CM Satish Prasad Singh, the current CM of Bihar and National President of Janata Dal United (JDU) Nitish Kumar expressed his deep condolences saying that Satish Prasad Singh was a skilled politician and social worker. He has been a valuable contributor to the politics of Bihar, his death has caused irreparable damage in political and social fields.

Along with this, CM Nitish Kumar has prayed to God for peace of the departed soul and to provide patience to his family in this hour. Let us tell you that Satish Prasad Singh became the sixth CM of Bihar in 1968, although he remained in the post of Chief Minister for only 5 days. Let us know that his wife Gyanakala Devi also died on October 27 last month.
