Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has reacted sharply to PM Narendra Modi's statement of 'save the corrupt'. Bihar CM said that there is someone at the centre, and we don't pay attention to what he says. Not only this, he claimed that he was not saving the corrupt. Rather, PM Modi himself should think about the work being done to bring him here and there to other states.
Actually, PM Modi was on a tour of Kerala on Thursday (September 1). During this, PM Modi said that there has been a new polarization in national politics due to taking action against the corrupt people in the country. Some political parties are openly trying to organize into one faction to save people facing corruption charges. This statement of PM Modi has come at a time when opposition parties are continuously attacking the central government for the action of the investigating agencies in corruption cases. In such a situation, PM Modi had attacked Nitish Kumar regarding Lalu Yadav in gestures. However, the Prime Minister did not name anyone in his speech.
In relation to this statement of PM Modi, when the press asked Nitish Kumar, he said that, there is someone in the centre, who keep on speaking anything, we do not pay attention to it. Be assured. At the same time, the work that is being done in the other states, from where has to be brought. They should think about it. Here we will not tolerate the corrupt at all. What they say, they say their own, we don't care about it. In fact, Nitish's reference was to the allegations of horse-trading against the BJP in states like Jharkhand-Delhi.
