Patna: Bihar has witnessed a major upheaval in its polity. Former bureaucrat-turned-politician JDU national president RCP Singh has resigned from the party's primary membership. The RCP, which was once considered to be the right-hand man of CM Nitish Kumar, is now leaving a lot of arrows on Chief Minister Nitish and the JDU. Not only that, after resigning from the party, he even called the JDU a sinking ship.
The same RCP Singh said that I was falsely accused of amassing unaccounted wealth to malign my image. There is nothing left at the party. "It (JDU) is a sinking ship. Irritated with us, deal with us, we have many options.'' At the same time, when RCP Singh was asked whether Nitish Kumar wants to become the PM of the country. To this question, he replied, saying, "Will not be made in 7 births."
Let us tell you that RCP Singh was accused of acquiring undisclosed wealth by doing corruption. Between 2013 and 2022, the JDU state president issued a show-cause notice and asked him to respond to the allegations of corruption against him. Questions were also raised on him about the 40 bighas of land purchased in two blocks of Nalanda. He was also accused of buying property in the name of his wife and other persons.
