In the ongoing race between countries and Governments, the Russian coronavirus vaccine has stayed ahead in collecting the maximum attention and scrutiny from the international viewpoint. Nitish Rajput, in his latest YouTube video titled "​Reality of Russian Vaccine​," digs deeper into the safety and security concerns related to the vaccine 'Sputnik V.'

Nitish Rajput, who is based in New Delhi has a notable name in the IT sector. He owns an MNC enterprise in Delhi as well. Today Nitish is also a ​popular social media influencer and digital activist.​ He has gained a massive following due to his views on current affairs and politics. Regarding the TikTok versus YouTube controversy, Nitish was also invited to speak on the topic on the radio channel 93.5.

In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Nitish Rajput draws attention towards the Russian vaccine by carefully fact checking it and analysing the risk and controversy surrounding it. He begins by talking about how the Coronavirus disease has reached a pandemic stage, surpassing the endemic and epidemic stages of a disease.

Next he fact checks and debunks the claim that Russia is the first country to have prepared the Coronavirus vaccine. He says that technically China has already made an experimental vaccine​ for its military. Further, Nitish goes on to explain that the WHO keeps a close eye on the development of the vaccines and when it released a list of 21 organizations which are at their final stage, Russia's name was not on the list.

The Russian organization started its Phase II trials on July 13th and by August 3rd, it had completed all of them. Nitish also mentions that after the completion of phase I, Russia stopped sharing all the details in public. This is completely against the WHO guidelines and in spite of repeatedly asking for the details to be provided, Russia didn't disclose any information.

Nitish says that the Russian Government rushed to make this vaccine based on insufficient results. He further cites the example of the dengue vaccine and how a hastily made vaccine proved to be extremely dangerous for the public. Right now, Bharat Biotech's COVAXIN is the only inactivated vaccine and is thus the safest to consume and store.

He concludes by saying that currently the Oxford vaccine is the most ahead in the race while also abiding by all the safety protocols and guidelines of WHO. Towards the end, Nitish also raises a very concerning question as to ​why no media channel is covering the topic of the Russian vaccine's safety and whether it is as well-founded and authentic as it claims to be.
