Patna: In the Bihar elections, the atmosphere of heated up on the issue of terrorism. On Tuesday, Union Minister of State for Home Nityananda Rai had said that "Terrorists from Kashmir in Bihar will take refuge after RJD wins". Due to his statement, controversies intensified and the opposition has become an attacker on the Union Minister. Now the BJP has defended the Union minister after the opposition attacked. Recently RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has surrounded the BJP with the excuse of Rai's statement and said "What will he say on the terror of unemployment".

Recently, Tejashwi Yadav said, "The unemployment rate in Bihar is 46.6 percent. What do they have to say about the terror of unemployment, poverty, hunger, and migration? What did his double engine government do in 15 years? This is an attempt to move away from their agenda, but we want to contest on the agenda". BJP has given statements defending Nityananda Rai's statement on his behalf. Recently BJP leader and Bihar BJP in-charge Bhupendra Yadav said, "Nityanand Ji's statement meant that the BJP is fighting a tough fight against terrorism". 

Addressing an election meeting recently, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said that "If the RJD government is formed in Bihar, the terrorism that we are eliminating in Kashmir will come and take shelter here on the soil of Bihar." When Nityananda had given a statement in the past, then Congress leader Santosh Kumar said that 'Such a minister should be sacked by the Central Government immediately. The President should take cognizance of this matter without delay. BJP leaders are trying to pollute the electoral process'.
