A lockdown is in place across the country due to Corona infection. The railways is doing the work of sending laborers trapped in other states to their home states amid the lockdown. The workers' special train of the railway, which ran from Surat in Gujarat to Madhubani in Bihar, reached Jabalpur on Wednesday. As soon as the train arrived at the Jabalpur railway station, the railway employees and the GRP welcomed the workers with applause, but seeing the condition inside the train, the dislocation of the railway was also revealed.

In fact, men, women and children were present on Tuesday in the labor special train that took out workers from Surat. Adherence to social distancing was missing in train coaches. The workers were suffering from hunger and thirst. IRCTC had arranged food and water for the workers at the station, but the workers raised questions on this entire arrangement. The laborers used to say that the railways took full fare for the journey from us but the food given to us at Jabalpur station smelled. There was not enough water for the thirsty laborers. In the name of water, 10 bottles were kept in one place which were too less.

The workers accuse that no laborers were allowed to come down from the train. They kept demanding water from the railway officials, but no one was listening. However, the GRP says that the IRCTC had made adequate arrangements for food and drink for the workers. The GRP also claimed to have separate arrangements for children.
