Chandigarh: New cases of increasing smuggling of alcohol and drugs are coming out every day. Every day a huge amount of liquor is being smuggled, if any person is caught smuggling liquor in Haryana, then they will not get the first bail-in 6 months. The first provision was for 15 days. It is also being said that after that the liquor smuggler used to be released on bail. Now, if caught, the liquor smuggler will have to spend 6 months behind bars before bail. The Haryana government is going to make such a provision under the new excise policy. In response to the question of MLA Bibi Batra, Excise Minister and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala kept it in the House. Dushyant Chautala said that the rules have been tightened by taking several important decisions in the state's excise policy for the year 2020-21.
