Bigg Boss season 12 which was based on the theme of Vichitra Jodis had many celebs and commoners as participants. However, the last season failed to garner major TRPs and still, the makers are going ahead with season 13.

 But this time around, they are apparently planning to ditch commoner vs celebs idea by incorporating just celebs as the last season was not a success in comparison to BB 11.

A source told Bollywoodlife.com, "This decision has been taken after the debacle from last year, where the choices of the commoner participants were questioned blatantly." Reportedly, Bigg Boss 13 makers have approached celebs such as Jay Bhanushali, Mahhi Vij and Vivek Dahiya for the show.

Some reports suggest that the MTV Roadies contestant Navjyot Gurudatta and internet sensation Reena Dwivedi, a PWD woman officer were also approached. The makers are also trying to rope in Tik Tok celebrities as participants. Speaking of the non-celebs many of them such as Luv Tyagi, Puneesh, Bandgi, Saba and Somi Khan became popular post their stint in Bigg Boss.

 Talking about the season 13, Salman Khan once again will be hosting the controversial show. And this season will also witness a new location for shooting. Yes, many seasons were shot in Lonavala and Karjat, but this time the makers will create sets in Mumbai.

 Popular director Omung Kumar and his wife Vanita Omung Kumar who have been the set designers for Bigg Boss for many years will be creating the sets again.
