India reports no deaths in 15 states of India in last 24 hours: Health Ministry

New Delhi: The news of relief for the country comes amidst the ongoing war on the global epidemic coronavirus. In 15 states and union territories of the country, there has not been a single death report due to coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. Union Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has informed on Tuesday that there are 7 states and union territories in which no deaths have been recorded in the last 3 weeks.

He said that there are less than 5000 active cases in 33 states and union territories. Currently, only 3.12 percent of the total corona cases in India are active. 112 deaths per 10 lakh population have been recorded. The Health Ministry reported that the average daily corona deaths in the past 5 weeks have fallen by 55%. At the same time, no deaths from coronavirus infection have been reported in the country's capital Delhi in the last 24 hours.

The ministry said that 12 states and union territories, including Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Kerala, have administered corona vaccine to more than 65 percent of their health workers. 11 states/union territories including Delhi, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Punjab have vaccinated covid-19 to less than 40 percent of their health workers.
