Mumbai: The corona epidemic has hampered many things in the country. The Board of Education has postponed the final examinations of classes IX and XI in view of the sharp rise in corona cases in the state. The students of the Maharashtra Board will be promoted for this academic session 2021-22. Maharashtra is the region where corona cases are the highest at present.

 

 

It would have been difficult to conduct offline examinations, which is why it has been decided to promote the students. The Maharashtra State Board had earlier announced to promote students from class 1-8 without final examination. Varsha Gaikwad said in a video message, "In view of the interest of the students during corona, the Department of School Education has decided to give full promotion to students of class IX and XI in the affiliated schools. All state board students from class I to VIII across Maharashtra will be promoted to the next class."

At the same time, board examinations in the state will be conducted offline. the HSC (Class XII) examinations are scheduled to begin from April 23 and the SSC (Class 10) examinations will begin from April 29. The practical exams of class 10th students were already postponed by the Board. Maharashtra State Board of Education has also informed that board examinations for corona-affected students in Maharashtra will be held later in June.
