No excuses No regrets is my mantra for success says model & actor Shiv Khanna

Shiv Khanna believes that if you want to achieve big in life you should have no excuses for working towards it each and every day and have no regrets about choices you made for yourself. Apart from his passion for acting and modelling Shiv Khanna is a successful casting director, a bookworm and a travel junkie and also runs his own firm Khanna Casting and Films.

Shiv Khanna, 25, is born and brought up in Delhi and started working at an early age of 15 towards his goal. He did modeling and Ramp walk for many popular brands. Shiv Khanna is a self driven young man, his love for acting is quite evident with the impactful performances in popular TV commercials for brands like PepsiCo, Goibibo<>, in all these commercials he has a lead role. Not only this. He elaborates “ It is an extremely difficult task to capture viewers attention in a short TV commercial where you get screen time of less than a minute.” He has accomplished this task very successfully by acting in hundreds of ads and become a familiar face in Indian households.

He has also worked in critically acclaimed movie Paharganj .Although movie wasn’t a great commercial hit but inspite of a short role he has proven his impeccable acting skills in the movie.

Expanding the horizon of creativity Shiv Khanna is also working as casting director. He says “Creativity has no boundaries , nowhere it’s a rule that an actor can not be a good director or producer. Infact my acting skills help me to be a good in casting as I understand the requirements of a character and accordingly take auditions.” Shiv Khanna help many budding actors get meaty roles in entertainment industry.

And inspite of all this and a super hectic schedule due to switching between acting modelling and casting he is able to organize acting workshops in Delhi's prominent schools and educational institutes, where he train them about techniques to face camera and skills to become stars of tomorrow. He says “ there are many things that you don’t learn as a student but become better in same by teaching, so in a way these workshops help me too to improve my skills and understand the things from different perspective altogether.”

About being so creative and successful at such a young age he says “ I believe that opportunities are in abundance if you want to learn and achieve big , you don’t give excuses in doing so and ones you decide to do something you should not regret it later, as you may or may not succeed in every decision you make but, definitely you learn and each learning is worthwhile.”
