In this situation In Telangana the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials said that there are no longer any containment zones in Hyderabad, only hotspots. Let us share here that the government of Telangana had adopted strict methods to contain the spread of coronavirus last year but this year, it is completely different.

For your information let us share that GHMC identifying hot spots localities with high population density, such as gated communities and slums. They further added that they aren’t declaring any area as a containment zone as of last year. It will be totally upon public to maintain social distancing and be safe. Dr. Srujana, Deputy Director of Medical Health Office (DMHO) for Serilingampally circle said that "Actual containment zone is not there, but in some places, we are restricting movement by giving instructions to people to stay at home." 

As per latest updates, over the last four weeks, Telangana has witnessed more cases and a similar situation is going to continue for another 4 to 6 weeks. As the number of cases are growing in Hyderabad, intensive sanitization drive by the spraying of Sodium Hypochlorite at public places started in the city on Sunday. The drive is being taken up by the Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams of Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EVDM).
