Today, in Assam , there was no relief from flood water as new areas have been swamped today in Upper Assam. As per official reports, that in Jorhat district ,Dagaon Bahal embankment is under threat from Bhugdoi river.Administration is closely monitoring the condition and people of nearby villages have been alerted.Nearly 45 thousand people have been pretentious in Jorhat district.

Respite materials are being dispersed in affected areas. Road infrastructure also disrupted due to flood. State Agriculture minister Atul Bora visited the Kaziranga national park to take stock of the situation. Overall nearly 300 villages have been inundated in seven districts in current wave of floods.
