Bhopal: We all carry LPG cylinders every month, but you will hardly remember that the message of subsidizing bank accounts of oil marketing companies (OMCs) that market oil and gas has not been there for a long time. No one has received this subsidy for about 8 months after April-20. From May to November, 14.2 kg subsidy cylinder prices did not increase at all. By the way, you will not know that the oil companies have abolished all your subsidies.

In fact, the oil companies did a great job in ending direct subsidy transfer (DBTL) subsidy of Rs 20 thousand crores to 27.59 crore LPG connection holders across the country, including 1.49 Karad of MP. To do this, the cylinder cost Rs 8.60 every month from the first phase i.e. June-2019 to April-20.

June 2019 - LPG price Rs 737.50. During that time, the subsidy was Rs 243.50, which you had to pay for Rs 494.

December 2020- 14.2 kg cylinder 650 Rs. Was coming but subsidy was not being received. During that time you had to pay the full price 22 thousand crores left.

In fact, the central government had given a subsidy of Rs 22,635 crore in LPG in 2019-20, but this year it will not have to give any subsidy. Recently, the operators of the gas agency have clearly stated that 'the government made LPG cylinders costlier by 50 rupees after 7 months in the month of December, but no subsidy was added to the accounts of the customers'. Due to this, after the subsidy in the bank accounts, the cylinder which was coming to Rs 494, it started coming to Rs 580. At the same time, the price of LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 86, while from May to November the price was increased by only Rs 12.
