When Tanushree spoke about her alleged harrassment many Bollywood celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Twinkle Khanna came in support of her. Now Amitab Bachchan also spoke on this case. In an interview supporting the women against any kind of misbehavior, he said that No woman should ever be subjected to any kind of misbehaviour, or disorderly conduct, especially at her work place. Such acts should immediately be brought to the notice of concerned authorities, and corrective measures be taken, either through filing complaints or a recourse to law.  He further said that it would be an unrepairable blemish if we are not able to provide women the welcome they deserve and the dignity of the security of their presence.

Earlier, when at the trailer launch of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ Big B was asked about Tanushree and Nana he said that he is neither Nana Patekar nor Tanushree so he can’t answer the question.
