Noida: A man named Pawan, who lives in Rupwas village under Thana Dadri area in Noida adjoining the national capital Delhi, was killed on May 18. Now the police have revealed the murder. Police have arrested the wife of the deceased and a friend in the case. Both of them had strangled Pawan with an electric wire.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone III) Rajesh Kumar Singh said that Pawan (30 years), a resident of Rupwas village in Thana Dadri area, was strangled to death on May 18. He said inspector-in-charge of Thana Dadri Pradeep Tripathi, who is investigating the incident, on Monday arrested his wife Pooja and Yatendra in the case on the basis of a tip-off.
Rajesh Kumar Singh said that during interrogation police came to know that Pawan's wife Pooja and Yatendra had a close relationship. Pawan also used to assault his wife. He said Pooja along with Yatendra did Pawan's murder and the duo strangled him to death with an electric wire. The DCP said the two accused were produced before the court by the police from where they have been remanded to 14 days judicial custody.
