After a month of restrictions in place, the Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has announced relaxation in COVID-19 curfew. The relaxations were announced after a review of current situation of the Covid-19 cases. Written order were passed on Sunday regarding revised restrictions, District Magistrate Suhas L Y said certain activities outside containment zone would be allowed from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday.

The night time curfew will be in place from 7 pm to 7 am. Here is the full list of new rules that will come into effect in Noida from today.

1. Shops and markets outside containment zones to remain open from 7 am to 7 pm only on weekdays.

2. Schools, colleges and educational institutes will remain closed.

3. Vegetable markets in densely-populated areas will function in open places with COVID protocols.

4. Home delivery, no dining or take away will be allowed from restaurants.

5. Street hawkers and vendors will be permitted with Covid-appropriate behaviour and distancing.

6. Not more than five devotees will be allowed inside a religious place at same time.

7. Only 25 people permitted in a wedding function while maximum of 20 people allowed at a funeral procession.

8. Coaching centres, cinema halls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, clubs and shopping malls will remain closed.

9. Full attendance for the frontline workers will be marked.

10. For the rest of the government employees, there would be 50 per cent attendance on rotation basis.

11. The order made it mandatory for all offices, including private ones, to set up a COVID help desk.

12. Industrial units will stay open with mandatory Covid help desk.

13. The private sector has been requested to work from home more and more. No employee is to be allowed with symptoms in the office.

14. Only two passengers will be allowed in 3-wheelers like autorickshaw, three in an e-rickshaw and four in 4-wheelers -- all subject to proper distancing and wearing of masks.
