New Delhi: A midst the corona crisis, a series of shocking cases are being reported from the country. A woman was sleeping in a room inside her house in Bhangel area of Noida Face-2 while her husband went to the terrace to sleep.

The wife hoped that the husband would get down at night and come into the room. So the wife had left the gate open, but the open door was waiting for the terrible incident. A man living in the neighbourhood entered the woman's room through the terrace and committed the rape. Police have registered a case and arrested the culprit after receiving information about the incident.

The investigating officer in the case said that in the case, the woman accused a man named Rinku, her neighbour, of rape after which the police arrested the culprit. The police officer said Rinku, who lives in his neighbourhood, took advantage of the opportunity to see the door of the house open and entered the woman's room quietly. He assaulted the sleeping woman and threatened her and committed the rape. Police have registered a report of the incident and taken the culprit into custody. The woman has undergone a medical examination at the district hospital.
