The Giant smartphone maker Nokia has confirmed the launch of Nokia 4.2 in India. The smartphone was announced in February alongside and pre-orders began in the US earlier this month.
According to the report, The Nokia 4.2 India launch has been confirmed for May 7 and the teaser highlights the power button featuring an LED notification light as well as a dedicated Google Assistant button for the smartphone.

Talking about specifications, the biggest highlights of the Nokia 4.2 include dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 439 SoC, 5.71-inch HD+ 19:9 display . The smartphone further includes 2GB/3GB of RAM with 16GB/32GB storage, expandable up to 400GB with microSD. While the Nokia 4.2 runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box it comes with Single / Dual SIM connectivity. For optics, there is a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with PDAF f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, 1.12µm pixel size and a secondary 2-megapixel camera. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12µm pixel size.

As far as price is concerned, While there has been no word on Nokia 4.2 price in India, the smartphone was announced at US$ 169 (roughly Rs. 12,005) for the 2GB RAM / 16GB storage version while the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage version of the Nokia 4.2 was priced at US$ 199 (roughly Rs. 14,135). The smartphone was launched in Black and Pink Sand colour options.
