Smartphone maker Nokia shut down the plant in Tamil Nadu last week. The reason is that some employees at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu have been found to be corona positive. However, the company has not yet revealed the number of corona infected. A report has come out on the other side, which claims that about 42 Nokia employees are Corona positive. According to reports, about 42 Nokia employees have been hit by Corona. The company restarted its plant only after the lockdown was relaxed. The company has now said that the plant will be opened only after the employees recover.
OPPO stopped working at the plant
Chinese smartphone maker Oppo stopped work at the plant in Noida a few days ago. The company said that the plant would remain closed until the infection investigation of its nearly 3,000 employees was completed. The company opened the plant with 30 per cent employees after getting permission from the Uttar Pradesh government.
Corona cases increased rapidly
The cases of corona infection in India are increasing rapidly. There have been around 6,387 new cases of corona in the country in the last 24 hours, while more than 150 people have died. According to media reports, corona cases in the country have reached one lakh 51 thousand 767, out of which about 64 thousand 425 people have recovered and gone to their homes. 4,387 people have died so far.
