Lucknow: Samajwadi Party's MLA Nahid Hasan on Friday became the first candidate to file nomination papers from Kairana assembly constituency of Shamli district in the first phase of the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. Nahid Hasan is the only candidate who has filed his nomination papers on the very first day of the issuance of notification for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Let us inform that Nahid Hasan is a two-time Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA from Kairana assembly seat. According to the Election Commission, in the first phase of the UP assembly elections, voting will be held on February 10 in 58 assembly constituencies of 11 districts and the last date for nomination has been kept on January 21, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on January 24 and nomination will be withdrawn on January 27. is the last date to be taken.

At the same time, the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
