Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA and former minister Azam Khan has recently been found guilty of making inflammatory speeches. The court has sentenced Azam Khan to three years in jail in this case. His MLAship has also been cancelled. Meanwhile, another SP leader seems to be in trouble. A local court in Uttar Pradesh has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against SP MLA Irfan Solanki and his younger brother in a case of rioting and arson.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Anand Prakash Tiwari said on Thursday that a non-bailable warrant was issued against Solanki and his brother Rizwan by a special MP-MLA court on Wednesday after a case was registered at Jajmau police station. Tiwari further said that a search is on to nab the Sisamau MLA and his brother. These people have gone underground to avoid arrest.

Tiwari said that several police teams have been formed to raid all possible locations of the MLA and his brother. Another official said that it has been decided to initiate action to attach the properties of the MLA and his brother if they do not surrender before the court or the police.
