New Delhi: On Friday, there was some relief in the evening due to thundershowers and Gusty Winds in Delhi and its surrounding areas. At the same time, the next few are going to be very relief for Delhi. Let us tell you that now today i.e. on Saturday, there may be thunderstorms in Delhi and there is a possibility of getting relief from the scorching heat for the next few days. Along with this, rain is also expected in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab.

Let us tell you that apart from hailstorm, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, not only in Delhi. With this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Maharashtra, West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Not only this, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in some areas of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Along with this, apart from light drizzle, there was some relief to Delhiites due to thunder and strong wind, but there was no decrease in the day temperature. On the other hand, Delhi's main weather station Safdarjung Observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 44.4 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal. With this, the maximum temperature was recorded at 45.6 degree Celsius yesterday i.e. on Sunday, which was the highest temperature so far this year. Let us tell you that by the end of this evening, there was some relief from partly cloudy sky, drizzle and hailstorm in some parts of the capital. At the same time, the weather forecasters said that, 'Due to a cyclonic circulation over Punjab and Haryana, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers on Saturday.'

According to a fresh Western Disturbance, rain and thundershowers will start over Northwest India from tomorrow i.e. Sunday. As a result, the maximum temperature in Delhi will drop to 37 degree Celsius till Tuesday. Simultaneously, Mahesh Palawat, vice-president (meteorology and climate change) of Skymet, a private weather forecasting agency, said, "One after the other western disturbances will give intermittent respite from the heat.
