Other Qualification Details:
1. NAME OF THE POST: Contract Medical Practitioner (CMP) on full time basis (For N.Rly. Extra Divisional Hospital/Jagadhri Workshop)
2. Remuneration: GDMO - 75,000/-, Specialist(1st Year Specialist(2st Year onward) - 95,000/- 1,05,000/-
3. Qualification: MBBS from a recognized University and must have completed compulsory rotatory internship for one year and should be in possession of a valid Registration Certificate from any of the State Medical Council of India or MCI. In case of specialists they should have P.G. Qualification /Diploma Degree in the required specialty from recognized university recognized by MCI and Registration Certificate from State Medical Council of India or MCI.
4. Nature of Engagement:
a) The engagement is purely on contractual basis for one year or till regular UPSC selected Doctors (ADMO/DMO/Sr.DMO/ACMS) become available whichever is earlier. Further, the service of these doctors is also terminable before the expiry of one year. The service rendered as contract doctor is a stop-gap arrangement and will not have any bearing in respect of consideration of the period in case of regular selection of these contract doctors through UPSC. It will also not confer any right for automatic regularization/absorption in any circumstance. The full-time CMP who enters into a contract with the railways will not have any claim or right for his /her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of the contract.
(b) The CMP shall undergo a medical examination before the contract is entered into, for his/her to perform the work awarded to him/her.
(c) All other terms and conditions as laid in Railway Board’s Letter No. 96/E/(GR)ii dated 23.02.2000 and as mentioned from time to time shall be binding up on the CMP’s.
(d) After selection of the three (03) CMP’s the names of the remaining candidates who appeared in the walk-in interview will be kept on waiting list and in the event of any vacancy arises in future will be filled by these candidates.
Age: Not exceeding 48 yrs. as on 01.05.2018 subject to maximum twelve terms of one year each or till the age of 60 yrs whichever is earlier. - Not exceeding 61 years on 01.05.2018 for retired IRMS Officers/ retired Medical Officers of State Govt. and Central Govt. subject to maximum five terms of one year each or till the age of 65 yrs whichever is earlier.
Age: Not more than 57 years as on 01.05.2018. Part time dental surgeon shall cease to be on contract on his/her attaining the age of 60 years.
