Oslo: Two groups clashed during an anti-Islam rally on Saturday in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Officers were alerted after this incident and they ended the rally soon. The rally was organized in front of the Parliament House, not the Stop Islamization of Norway (SIAN) group.

According to the news agency DPA report, during this rally, hundreds of protesters who had opposed it came on the streets and shouted slogans, beating the drum. In the demonstration, they shouted slogans like 'We don't want racists on our streets'. According to media reports, the situation worsened when a woman from an SIAN group tore the pages of a religious book. Action has already been taken against this woman for hate speeches.

After this act of the woman, the people opposing this rally threw eggs at the members of SIAN and broke the barricading police and started assaulting them. The authorities then used paper sprays and tear gas shells to control the situation. Police arrested 29 people in this case. It also includes many women and minor children. Earlier similar protests took place in Malmö, Sweden. Religious books were lit there too.
