Ranchi: After being in the Bharatiya Janata Party for 9 years, former minister Hemlal Murmu returned to the JMM. We have a parliamentary democratic system, and people come and go here. It's not a big deal. Due to being in any party, opinion-seeking, consultation, and brainstorming go on. The period of ups and downs and churning continues at the level of ideology. It has to be seen how much we fit into such an ideology. Hemlal Murmu said that I have also worked with full honesty and integrity in the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The former minister said that after doing the politics of the Bharatiya Janata Party for nine years, he found that in this area (Santal Pargana), the means to understand the sentiments of the people and fulfil their basic needs are not the BJP but Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. I started feeling that my objectives were not being fulfilled in the BJP. The purpose here is not electoral politics but reaching out to the sentiments of the common man. Even before this, Hemlal Murmu had said that the BJP's strategy is not made according to region-wise requirements but rather a common programme is made in Delhi.
