Kamal Hasan starrer Indian 2 is making quite a buzz since its announcement. finally, it goes on the floors today in Chennai. As per reports, Kamal Haasan was not the first choice for the role in Indian which released in 1996. Director Shankar had approached superstar Rajinikanth with the script of Indian but due to date issues superstar had turned down the offer.
When Rajinikanth turned down the project, the director approached to Kamal and narrated the story to the actor who was highly impressed with the narrative. The film proved a great success at the box- office.
Indian 2, Kamal Hasam is back in the same role as Senapathi who has grown older. The film was officially launched today in Chennai which was attended by the complete cast and crew of the film. The film will be produced by Lyca Productions who had produced Shankar’s recent release 2.0 as well. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music of the film. The visuals of the sequel will be cranked by Ravi Varman while Kamal’s makeup to get the look right will be handled by international makeup professionals Legacy Makeup.
