Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen remain in news due to their separation. The duo announced their divorce a few months ago but then decided to put it on hold for the sake of their daughter Ziana Sen but now the couple once again planning for their divorce. Recently Charu announced their separation. These days Charu and Rajeev are in news as they are making serious allegation on each other. Now Charu has claimed that she was sacked from the show because of Rajeev.

Charu narrating the incident said that she was ousted from Akbar Ka Bal Birbal within a month of joining the show, stating that Rajeev was messaging her co-stars to not work with her. She accused him of 'not letting her grow' in the professional space, saying that he 'spoiled her relations' with the makers. Charu further added that the producers thought of ending her character as they believed that her personal life issues could affect the show in the future.

The actress said, "He messaged all my co-actors asking them to stay away from me and when the producers learned about it, they decided to sack me. They decided to do away with my character as they thought in the future because of personal life there can be problems in the show."

Earlier Rajeev also said that Charu is having affair with actor Karan Mehra. Charu Asopra reacted to these allegations said, “This is utter bullsh*t… I have worked with Karan on one show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and haven’t met him for the last 12 years. Recently, there was an event where he also turned up, and we had to post one reel as a professional commitment. There is nothing romantic in the reel. We are just standing there because we are there as celebrities. Usko dekhke koi bhi nahi koi bol nahi sakta ke Karan aur mera chakar chal raha hai.”
