Not possible to seperate cojoined twins: Dr Lakshma Reddy

Hyderabad, The doctors of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have declared that it was almost impossible to separate the conjoined twins Veena and Vani through surgery, said Health Minister Dr Lakshma Reddy.

According to Health Minister, "a team of doctors from London and the AIIMS had conducted a detailed study on the conjoined twins and came to the conclusion that a surgery for their separation could be highly dangerous and fatal for both."

Reddy said that the all the help required to the family of Veena and Vani, will be given by the Telangana government.

Veena and Vani have been staying for several years in Niloufer Hospital.
