Patna: Police in Patna, Bihar's capital, opened when the infamous robber Ravi Gupta alias Ravi Patent was brought from the jail to a civil court to appear before the court and on the basis of a pistol from the court premises he drove another criminal with him. This is the same Ravi Gupta on whom more than 16 cases of robbery and murder are registered.

They escaped from the Panchavati Ratnalaya in Rajiv Nagar area, located right in the middle of Patna city, in the broad daylight by robbing gold worth five crores in 15 minutes. To arrest him, even the very fast police of Patna had lost their sweat. In fact, Ravi Gupta and Ashish Rai, arrested in another case, were brought to the Patna civil court for production, where there were already prepared to run. Meanwhile, the accused also ate mutton rice in the hotel in the name of reducing stomach hunger.
Taking advantage of this, Ravi was handed a pistol by his comrades and in the name of going to the bathroom, took the police to the gunpoint and hit the police with a brick. Both the culprits ran away on the bike, escaping after covering the wall.
