The world No. 4 Thiem won the contest in five sets. He won 6-2, 3-6, 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 against Djokovic. They will take on Spain's Rafael Nadal in the final. Nadal has won the title 11 times. He beat Thiem in the final last year.
