New Delhi: In the race to buy the government airline Air India, another company name has emerged again. This time Vistara, a partnership between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has shown interest in buying Air India. Vistara airline chairman Bhaskar Bhatt said that they are evaluating the airline and a decision on the bid will be taken later.

The Central Government has resumed the disinvestment process in the government airline, after which Bhaskar has said this. Last week, there were reports of interest in buying Air India from the country's leading company Adani Group. Names of big companies like Tata Group and Hinduja have also come up to buy government airlines Air India.

Sources say that Adani Group can file Expression of Interest (EoI) to buy the government airline Air India. Preparations have started for this. Let us tell you that the Adani Group is in the race to become India's largest airport operator. The group currently operates Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Mangalore airports. Apart from this, the company has also applied to operate the airports of Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad and Guwahati.
