Mumbai: Amazon today announced a partnership with Jio, the country's largest and fastest-growing digital service company. Under this partnership, subscribers of Geofiber can view the premium content on the Amazon Prime Video app on their set-top boxes. Apart from this, Jio will provide one year prime membership of Rs 999 on Gold and larger broadband plans to consumers without any extra charge.

Through this deal, consumers of Jio Fiber will be able to access the Amazon Prime Video app on TV. With this, consumers of Geo Fiber will be able to enjoy new and exclusive films, TV programs, stand up comedians, children's programs and Amazon Originals programs on Hollywood and Amazon. Customers with a Jio Fiber Gold plan or higher plan can activate the annual membership of Amazon Prime by signing in on their Amazon account.

Consumers can also create a new Amazon account through Jio's set-top-box or log in from the MyJio app or Jio.com. Along with this, other consumers can also get their Jio Fiber Gold Card recharged to take advantage of this offer. Existing Amazon Prime consumers can sign in directly to the Amazon Pride app on their settop box. After this they will get the opportunity to take advantage of the programs of Indian Amazon Originals including the best content of Prime Video.
