Dehradun: The ongoing rebellion and dissidence in the Congress in the Uttarakhand assembly elections seem to have started showing results. Former CM and veteran Congress leader Harish Rawat's seat has been changed. Congress has changed the tickets in 5 seats. Mohit Uniyal's ticket from Doiwala was cut. Gaurav Chaudhary received it. Senior Congress spokesperson Dhirendra Pratap said that former CM and Congress Election Campaign Committee Chairman Harish Rawat from Lal Kuan, former MLA Ranjit Rawat from Salt, Mahesh Sharma from Kaladhangi and former MP Mahendra Pal from Ramnagar will be the Congress candidate in Uttarakhand assembly elections. He said that the decision has been taken unanimously. It was only after Harish Rawat was declared as the Congress candidate in the Ramnagar assembly seat that there was a revolt in this seat.

Sanjeev Arya, son of Yashpal Arya, is a candidate from Nainital.
