Mumbai: In Maharashtra, there may now be strict action against those who sticker police on private vehicles. The Mumbai High Court has given the verdict. According to the High Court judgement, action can be taken if the police-written sticker or the police's marking on the private vehicles of the policemen were also seen.

The court said it is illegal to place police stickers on vehicles in this manner. In such a situation, the person responsible for installing these stickers in the vehicle can also be prosecuted. Police usually write on police assault and patrolling vans, motorbikes and large trains. Which shows that it is a police vehicle. The police sticker on the car in big metros is a big task. With ease of parking, the trend of putting police stickers on trains among people has grown exponentially in metropolitan cities like Mumbai.

It is legally wrong to apply such a sticker, but people still violated the rule of law for their convenience. The policemen themselves also used police stickers and markings on their personal vehicles.  Thane's Satyajit Shaha launched a campaign against it. He had filed a petition seeking action against the police sticker on the vehicle illegally. While hearing the case, the court said it was illegal to apply such stickers.
