Mayawati is fighting UP's assembly by-elections on her own. So she has to reinvigorate not only in these areas but also find 11 capable assembly candidates. Mayawati will meet Bareilly, Chitrakoot, Kanpur and Jhansi Mandal on July 2. While the Lucknow Divisional meeting is proposed on 6th July.

The BSP is contesting assembly by-elections after nine years. Earlier in 2010, the BSP had contested its last by-election. In UP, the 2019 Lok Sabha elections were contested by the BSP in an alliance with the Samajwadi Party. In this election, the BSP had won 10 seats. While the SP won 5 seats. After the election result, the BSP had ended its relationship with the SP.
