Dehradun: Due to Corona's new variant Omicron, there is an atmosphere of fear across the country, after the old couple who came in contact with Omicron infected were found to be corona infected, the health department teams have identified three such persons who were flying from America to Dehradun, Vikasnagar and Rishikesh in which many Omicron infected people traveled. At present, along with identifying such a person, their samples have been taken, which have been sent for genome sequencing.

The same CMO Dr. Manoj Upreti said that the report of the youth resident of Vasant Vihar, included in the three people, has come negative. CMO Dr. Manoj Upreti told that a similar person resident of Vikasnagar has been identified who has come from America. His sample has also been taken. Along with this, a person resident of Rishikesh has been identified who came from America in the same plane in which many people have been found to be corona positive in the test. His samples have also been sent to the laboratory for examination.

Simultaneously, CMO Dr. Manoj Upreti told that monitoring is being done at Jolly Grant airport. The help of police administration is also being taken for the identification of people coming from abroad and their sampling can be done. In Delhi, all the persons who came in contact with the old couple who came in contact with the Omicron infected family are being marked. Samples of two maids who came in his contact have been sent for corona test, whose report is yet to come.
