Talking to the press in the Parliament complex, Captain Amarinder Singh said if Navjot Singh Sidhu does not want to do his job properly, he cannot do anything. Amarinder Singh said 13 of the 17 ministers in his cabinet had been changed. Sidhu was the only minister who had trouble with it. The new responsibilities to the cabinet ministers were given on the basis of their performance. Sidhu should have accepted the responsibility. He should have taken over the charge of the new ministry. It was an important responsibility.

CM Captain Amarinder Singh has said that I have no quarrel with Navjot Singh Sidhu, but if Sidhu has some controversy with me, ask him about it. Navjot Singh Sidhu made public his resignation from the Punjab Cabinet on Sunday. He had also made public his resignation letter sent to former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on June 10.
