Lucknow: There is good news for the labourers of Uttar Pradesh. Now due to lack of money, their children will not miss their education. For this, they will not even have to stretch their hands in front of anyone. Rather, the Yogi government will stand to help them. The government will also bear the expenses of general education from graduation to engineering and medical education from state colleges.
In a recent presentation given by the Labor Department to CM Yogi and the cabinet, the roadmap of the works to be done between 100 days to five years was presented. In this, it has been said to provide free education up to graduation level to the children of registered labourers in the construction sector. This proposal is to be implemented within six months. If this happens, the families of about 1.5 crores of registered workers will get its benefit. The BJP had promised this in the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra issued before the assembly elections.
The government is still helping with the education of the children of the registered workers in the construction sector. They are reimbursed for cycles, scholarships as well as fees. Many slabs have been made for that. In the case of ordinary graduation, up to 12 thousand and in medical and engineering up to one lakh according to the requirement. If sources are to be believed, now there is a preparation to increase the different slabs. If the fee in any course exceeds one lakh, then its actual reimbursement will be made.
