New Delhi: The Congress party has now made major changes in its strategy. It is reported that the party is now preferring to be called 'Indian National Congress' or Indian National Congress instead of 'Congress'. The special thing is that the party had announced a big change during the three-day Chintan Shivir organized in Udaipur, Rajasthan. In this sequence, on Tuesday, the party has constituted three groups including Task Force 2024.
According to media reports, party sources have informed that Congress is going to advise its spokespersons/leaders to call Indian National Congress instead of Congress during TV debates and press conferences or speeches. Sources have told that, 'The party wants to send a message through this that Congress is Indian, Congress has Indianness and the party is National Congress which fought for freedom'. It is reported that the party has made these changes because PM Narendra Modi and BJP are questioning the nationalism of Congress. At the same time, questions are also being raised on the Indianness of the Congress leadership. In such a situation, the party wants to show among the people that the Congress party is Indian and the leadership of the Congress is also Indian.
According to the report, sources have informed that to join India and Indianness, Congress read the party's proposal in Hindi in Udaipur Chintan Shivir and it was released in Hindi only. However, it was later changed to English. Let us tell you that this is the first time that a resolution has been passed in the Congress in Hindi and later it was translated into English. The Congress Party formed Task Force 2024, changing the strategy regarding the party's connectivity. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was specially called in this meeting.
