New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has made a big announcement in the country's capital Delhi. In the Delhi Assembly, now all the documents can be placed on the floor of the house only in the form of e-paper. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has announced this. The Deputy CM of Delhi has said that Delhi Assembly will be made completely paperless.

He has said that lakhs of pages of documents are laid on the Table of the House in every session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. Now only soft copies of documents can be laid on the Table of the House in the Vidhan Sabha. Manish Sisodia said that the proceedings of the assembly should be conducted in digital mode, for this a provision of Rs 20 crore has been made. Let us tell you that this time the e-Budget was presented by the Delhi government. Preparations were also made by the government for the presentation of the e-Budget in the Delhi Assembly.

E-pads have been given by the Delhi government to every member of the assembly i.e. every MLA so that the proceedings of the house can be operated in digital mode. AAP's MLA and former Delhi government minister Somnath Bharti has praised this initiative of Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel. Along with that, Ram Niwas has also presented a motion of thanks in the Delhi Assembly regarding this.
