We often listen about the kitchen ingredient’s benefit for beauty. We use fresh fruits for packs but the peals of some of the fruits and vegetables are also beneficial like from orange peels to squeezed-out lemons, de-tanning and nourishing your skin can be a no-fuss and zero-budget deal.

Here are some hacks which will more beneficial to you and your skin:

Tea bags:A steaming cup of tea every morning is something many of us need. But, after you have had your cuppa, don’t throw the bag away. Use it to cure dark circles and puffy eyes. Use the tea bag to massage the area underneath your eyes for five minutes “For better results, freeze the tea bag before use,” recommends, dermatologist Reema Arora

Fruit Peels: Sprinkle sugar crystals on the flesh side of banana peels and use as a soft, exfoliating loofa. But, ditch the option if you have oily skin, suggests Arora. Dried orange peels ground into a powder can be used to create an anti-tan face pack, when mixed with turmeric and honey. Beauty expert Gunjan Gaur suggests that one should rub papaya peel on the skin to remove pigmentation.

Wheat husk: What happens to wheat husk after you sieve it? It becomes a scrub! To the left over husk add two tablespoons of milk and a few drops of lemon. This removes stubborn blackheads on your face and even the elbows.

Lemons: After squeezing the juice, use it to massage your elbows, knees and armpits. This reduces tan, and also helps in getting rid of body odour. Avoid if you have dry skin.

Scraped egg white: After you have used an egg, scrape out the shell for the sticky part of the egg white. Apply onto your face with your fingers and once dry, rinse it off. This would tighten your skin pores and make your skin look smoother.
