USA: If you are having trouble telling who is who in group WhatsApp chat, then a new option is available for you. Within group chats, the app now shows profile pictures of members.

However, only Android Channel beta users have access to this feature. A comparable feature has also been made available on the iOS beta channel.

Given its immense popularity, the Meta-owned app has been keen on improving the in-app experience. It is currently being used by more than two billion people globally.

At this time, reforms related to the group are the main priority. As well as displaying profile pictures in group chats, the app is also working on a feature called "Expiring Groups" that will let you specify an end date for group chats.

You can now tell who's who in group chats by having a profile picture. If the user does not have a profile picture or if it is hidden, a default profile picture will be shown. This default profile icon's color will be close to the color of the associated contact's name, making it easy to identify.

If you have the latest version of WhatsApp downloaded, this feature should be accessible when you open a group chat if you're on the beta channel. If not, you should get the feature soon as it is currently being released.

As part of the stable iOS update 23.5.75, WhatsApp is making Voice Status available. Voice messages shared for status updates are limited to 30 seconds. From your chats, you can choose a voice message to set as your status.

Several additional features are being developed by the Meta-owned app, including the inclusion of a community feature on the business app.
