Guwahati: Assam is facing a variety of reports about the Ongoing NRC process. Many of its decisions have been controversial. That is why the process has been questioned. An investigation into the NRC documents revealed that most of the Hindus in the Muslim bent have used fake documents to register their names in the National Register of Citizens. Most of them are Bengali Hindus. The final list of the NRC will be released on August 31. In which the real sins of Assam will be identified.

The process of updating the NRC is being completed under the supervision of the Supreme Court. Sources say most of the people who submitted fake documents are Hindu applicants. In fact, most of the documents are forged by 50 per cent. It is very surprising because we had the impression that only suspected illegal Muslim migrants are submitting false documents to include their names in the NRC. However, the investigation of the documents has revealed most of the suspected Hindus. It can also be believed that Assam has a large number of such migrants.

Most of them are Bangladeshi Muslims who have submitted fake documents as Bengali Hindus. Sam's BJP government had recently claimed that most of the Hindus from Muslims were excluded from the NRC draft and the Supreme Court had directed to hand over the list of people outside the NCR to the state assembly at the district level. The issue is politically sensitive in Assam.
