NSA Ajit Doval reaches Maujpur due to Delhi violence

New Delhi: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has reached the Maujpur area of Delhi. After the ongoing violence in Delhi, Ajit has come to inspect this area. On the violence in Delhi, PM Narendra Modi has also expressed concern by tweeting on social media. The interim president of Congress, Sonia Gandhi, has attacked PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah while giving press talks.

After the violence erupted in Delhi, Section 144 has been imposed in many areas. Ajit Doval has arrived in Maujpur to take stock of the situation. Along with Doval, Delhi Police officers are also present who are informing Doval about the situation here. For a long time, along with Shaheen Bagh, a group of women were staging a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Maujpur area of Delhi. Meanwhile, some people came down in Maujpur Chowk in support of CAA and there were slogans from both sides.

Shortly thereafter stone-pelting started in both the groups. Violent clashes started. People started getting beaten up. Zafarabad soon became a battleground between CAA supporters and opponents. The movement of officers continued in the area till late night. In those areas which were most affected by the violence, orders were issued to shoot for the miscreants in those areas.
