Hyderabad: The family members of TDP founder and former chief minister N. T. Rama Rao warned YSRCP leaders on Saturday against dragging the names of women and their personal lives into politics, a day after former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu publicly broke down after YSRCP MLAs allegedly made some remarks about his wife Bhuvaneswari.

Bhuvaneswari's brothers and sisters responded angrily to specific remarks made about her and the humiliation Naidu had to through in the state Assembly, stating emphatically that they will not allow such an attempt in the future. N. Balakrishna, along with his sister Lokeshwari, brother N. Ramakrishna, and other family members, spoke at a news conference in Hyderabad to denounce the statements made by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLAs in the Assembly against Bhuvaneswari.

They chastised YSRCP leaders for dragging Bhuvaneswari's name into the debate, despite the fact that she is not a politician and works as an entrepreneur.  Balakrishna, a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA, warned YSRCP officials that he was speaking on behalf of the NTR family, supporters, party employees, and the general public. "Take care with your words. Our patience has an upper limit. Any comments made against our ladies will not be tolerated "He said this while reminding their political opponents that they, too, have wives and daughters.
