New Delhi: Nubia's latest flagship smartphone Z50 has been released in China. The device packs a 144Hz AMOLED display, 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera, top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast wired charging.
It will be available in China from December 23. Let's take a look at its highlights.
Nubia released its Z40S Pro model in July and has now released its latest flagship smartphone to compete with Vivo, iQOO and Xiaomi.
As expected from a new Android flagship, the smartphone is equipped with top-tier hardware. However, like the previous models, the company may not release the device outside its home country.

The Nubia Z50 features a punch-hole cut-out at the center with curved edges and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is available with glass back or leather back.
The device features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1000-nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. ,
It measures 8.4mm in thickness and weighs around 197g.

The Nubia Z50 sports a 64MP (f/1.6) Sony IMX787 primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it has a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone can record videos in 8K resolution.
The Nubia Z50 packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage.
The smartphone runs MyOS 13, which is based on Android 13. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
Connectivity options include 5G, dual SIM, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a Type-C port.

The Nubia Z50 is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 35,500) for the base 8GB/128GB model and CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 71,000) for the 16GB/1TB variant. It will be available in China from December 23.
