Baltimore: The number of cases of the novel coronavirus in the United States has surpassed 24 million. According to Johns Hopkins University, the US case tally amounts to 24,062,636, with 398,884 deaths.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the outbreak of COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020. 

Talking about global corona cases, According to the Johns Hopkins University, the total number of global coronavirus cases has topped 95.5 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 2.03 million.The US is the worst-hit country with the world's highest number of cases and deaths. India comes in second place in terms of cases at 10,571,773, while the country's death toll soared to 152,419.
