Rise in number of first-time buyers of Maruti Suzuki amid corona pandemic

New Delhi: Due to Corona epidemic, the percentage of first time car buyers and second or additional vehicle buyers has increased. The country's main car company Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has said that in the midst of this epidemic, people want to use their own vehicles instead of public transport.

The company said that the situation of vehicle sales has improved in July, but the scenario of the festive season will depend on how the situation of this health crisis continues till then. Also, the demand for vehicles, in the long run, will depend on the foundation of the economy. Shashank Srivastava, executive director (sales and marketing), Maruti Suzuki India, said, "The number of car buyers has increased for the first time." There has been a decline in the number of car owners. At the same time, the number of people buying another vehicle or additional car has also increased.

Explaining the reason behind this, Shrivastava said that this means that now people are giving priority to use their vehicles instead of public transport. With this, his income level also decreased for some time. This type of stance indicates a downward movement of demand. This is very logical. The figures that are coming so far show the same.
